Color Theory

Color is a crucial component of Mr. Gosswein’s work. In these prints, he uses geometric designs to explore color theory. The images include a playful tension between two and three dimensions. Colors are juxtaposed—primary colors (red, blue, yellow) against secondary colors (green, orange, purple). The art explores contrasts—warm vs. cool, tints and shades, saturation and hue. Achromatic colors (black, white, gray) are frequently included in the mix.

The images come in a variety of sizes and are available for purchase as high-quality digital prints on glass or mounted paper.
